Significance of St. Monica Novena
St. Monica Novena is a powerful prayer for troubled wives and abuse victims. In fact, anyone who seeks her intercession finds an immediate remedy.
St. Monica is the patron saint of mothers, wives, abuse victims, alcoholics, and conversions. She was born in the 4th century. She had an unwavering faith and dedication towards children and Our Lord.
She was the mother of St. Augustine. In his early days, he was wayward and had no faith in Jesus. St. Monica prayed very hard for his son’s soul.
Ultimately, her resilience paid off and he became a man of God. St. Augustine attributed his transformation to St. Monica’s prayers and tears.
St. Augustine was a great philosopher and theologian. He is considered one of the most important church fathers.
