About St. Juliana Falconieri

Juliana was born in 1270 into the Falconieri family, a noble Florentine family. Her parents had contributed to the construction of Florence’s Church of L’Annunziata.

Her father died while she was a child, and her uncle Alexis, who raised her with her mother, was one of the seven founders of the Servite Order, and the only one who did not become a priest.

Juliana Falconieri was conceived as a result of prayer. Her father erected the magnificent Annunziata church in Florence, and her uncle, Blessed Alexius, was a founder of the Servite Order. Juliana grew up under his care more like an angel than a human being, he added.

She was so bashful that she never looked in a mirror or looked at a man’s face in her entire life. She shuddered and trembled at the mere thought of wickedness, and she went into a dead faint when she heard of a scandal.

Her devotion to Our Lady’s sorrows led her to the Servants of Mary, and at the age of fourteen, she turned down a marriage proposal and accepted the habit from one of the seven saintly founders, St. Philip Benizi de Damaini (1233-1285). She became a third-order Servite in 1285 and lived with her mother until her death.

Juliana and her companions moved into their own communal dwelling in 1305, after her mother died. Juliana requested admission to the tertiaries’ community after her mother died in 1305.

They chose her to be their boss. She remained in this role for the following thirty-five years, until her death.

Juliana made it her mission to help the impoverished and ailing. According to legend, she sucked illness and pus out of the sores and wounds of hospitalized patients with her own mouth.

Juliana made time for long periods of prayer with God in the midst of her ongoing caring for the needy. As shown in the drawing on the left, she frequently experienced ecstasy during her prayer period.

Juliana was declared a saint shortly after her death and was canonized in 1737. With a host on her breast, she is frequently depicted in the habit of her order. The Mantellate Sisters have houses in mainland Europe, England, the United States, and Canada.

The sisters work in education, parish ministry, hospital and prison chaplaincies, and cancer and AIDS patient care, among other things. Her feast is usually held on June 19th.

God has given me the gift to read the signs, interpret the dreams, decode the angel numbers since birth. Through rigorous practice and application, my gifts have been fine-tuned. Now, I use my gifts solely to help those distressed souls who have lost all hopes, those who have been left alone to fend for themselves, those whom the system doesn’t care anymore, those whom the mainstream science has ignored.
