St. Jude is venerated as the Patron Saint of Hope and impossible causes. He was one of Jesus’ original twelve Apostles. Saint Jude is also known as Thaddaeus, was a brother of St. James the Less, who was also one of the apostles. Both of them are known as the brethren of Jesus. Many Biblical scholars believe that they were Jesus Christ’s cousins.

Significance of St. Jude Novena
St. Jude Novena is a nine-day period in which the faithful prays to obtain special graces or make requests or petitions. It represents the nine days of constant prayer by the apostles in Jerusalem after which the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles at Pentecost.
