Effective Prayer for Healing

Very often, we or our dear ones face a health problem which not heartbreaking and traumatic for us. In such times, the only recourse besides medical care seems to be a prayer for healing and recovery recited with faith.

I am sure, you must also have prayed to God for recovery and health during such trying times. That’s why I have compiled a set of highly effective prayers.

You can recite any prayer for healing as per your situation but it only works when you surrender to the God and pray fervently.

You can do it for yourself or your family members. A prayer for healing friend also works if done with a pure heart and faith in the almighty.

Prayer of Pope Francis during the Coronavirus Pandemic

O Mary,
you always shine on our path
as a sign of salvation and of hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick,
who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm.

Lord, you bring so much joy to this world. I wake up each morning with the sole purpose of giving you glory. I confess that lately I have not been able to bring you the glory you desire because I am in serious pain. The pain that I am suffering is through no fault of your own and I repent for the sins that have led me to this point. I thank you for giving me so many chances to make this right. I pray that you push away the demons that are causing the pain within my body. Almighty Father, Thank you for your love, grace and mercy. Heal Their Emotional Pain

Father, I’m praying for <<Name>> and others in my circle of family or friends in need of Your healing touch for their hurting hearts.

Some of them have received emotional wounds, some of them severe. Help them be willing to let you heal those hurts so they won’t become increasingly destructive over time, for You are the Lord who heals.

I come to You with the same spirit of helplessness and dependence that Moses had when he was leading Your people through the desert. They came to water, but it was bitter and the people had nothing to drink. Moses cried out to You, and You showed him a piece of wood; when he threw it into the water, the water became sweet. I’m now coming on behalf of these who are carrying emotional pain. In my heart I bring the wood of the cross, asking that Christ, who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, would bring healing to any bitterness He finds in their hearts.

No matter what pain they’ve suffered, help them not to give into anger, resentment, unforgiveness, or bitterness and become captive to sin. May their hearts not become calloused or hard, but refresh them in Christ. May they not lose heart but be inwardly renewed day by day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord, you bring a smile to my face each day when I think about you in my life. I confess that I surrounded myself with people that do not know your generosity. One of these people has broken my heart and caused me to doubt your graciousness. I thank you for all of the people you have brought into my life to help me through these difficult times. I pray to you with a heavy heart and ask that you give me courage to forgive the person that is causing me such great pain. A Powerful Deliverance Prayer

Father, Today, as begin our prayer, we praise You, for You say we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). This world is hard. It threatens to crush us in many ways. Physically, we cannot always outrun the ailments of our bodies. Sickness and injury take hold of us, and we are not always healed to the original state of our health. Mentally, we are bombarded and pulled at by unfiltered thoughts threatening to run away with our self-esteem on a daily basis. Spiritually, You promise us a battle in this life. John 10: 10-11 reminds us, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Bring our hearts to focus on Your Truth at the start of each day, expecting a battle, but also deliverance.

Father, in overwhelming moments help us to recall the truth of Psalm 32:7, “You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” Remind us of the greats of faith that have gone before us in bravery, with courageous faith in Your protective hand of deliverance.

Lord, you are so caring and gentle. I confess that the beautiful body which you gave me must be cut open today. I am so sorry to cause you this pain. I thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience with the doctor who will operate on me today. Almighty God, cover my mind with the helmet of Your salvation, reminding me constantly that I am Your child and the enemy can’t mess with me. I’m coming to you today as your child, longing to hear from you and asking for your divine healing. There’s so much I don’t understand about life.
